Saskia Porta
Saskia Porta successfully completed her legal studies with a concentration on international law at the University of Münster in 2009 with the First State Examination and the simultaneous acquisition of the title of graduate lawyer. In addition to her legal studies in Germany, she completed two further law programs in foreign languages, one in Spanish and one in French. In 2010 she received her LL.M having completed a Master’s degree in Spanish Law at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
Her proceeding legal clerkship was carried out in a number of different countries in law firms in Latin America (Mexico), Spain and Germany, where she obtained experience in different areas of law including the incorporation of international companies. After successfully finishing her Second State Examination at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf in the year 2012 (qualification for judgeship), she worked for a multinational company with branches on different continents and in a multilingual law firm with several offices in Majorca, managing its Palma office and extending her international business experience. In this context she could expand her knowledge in the areas of corporate and commercial law and inheritance law as well as contract law.
In 2015, she joined the law firm Porta & Associates as a partner. Also in 2015 she completed her education as a mediator (extrajudicial litigation specialist) and does therefore offer this service for our clients, especially in the business area.
Since October 2019 Saskia Porta is doing a doctorate at the University of the Balearic Islands to obtain her PhD about EU company law.
